Lake life is getting a village vibe. Where you'll be able to stroll by The Square for a morning coffee. The pop-up farmstand for fresh dinner ingredients. Or Gardner House Taproom and Café for a cold beer and (on a particularly perfect night) a live band. Here, there will always be a neighbor to meet, and no two days will be the same. Situated a little further north than the Lakes neighborhood, the Village side will be an extension of the established Barefoot community — with an equally refreshing variety of home types, including townhomes, cottages and larger estate homes. And getting from here to there will be easy, thanks to a pedestrian underpass under Ronald Reagan Boulevard that will take you to our namesake lakes and an immense trail system — including the St. Vrain River Trail — and back home again.
If The Square is the heart of Barefoot Village, Gardner House Taproom and Café will be its heartbeat. Here, you'll find the signature garden market, a place to grab coffee or a craft beer, a convenient spot for light bites — and neighbors to enjoy it all with.
The homes in Barefoot Village won’t be … well, your garden “suburb” variety. Here, front porches will offer a spot to watch the world (or at least the neighborhood) go by. Welcoming cottages will create better curb appeal. And townhomes and rowhomes will promote a close-knit feel. All so you can get to know your neighbors. Oh, and did we mention that all the homes here will be close to parks and The Square? In other words, the whole “community” part of our community.
Our first (of many) builders, Brookfield Residential and Pulte Homes, will be opening model homes this summer. Sign-up on our interest list to be among the first to hear about updates and more.
Homes are expected to begin selling in Summer 2025
